I establish Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on the Process Approach and Evidence-Based Decision-Making principles. My focus is on creating measurable compliance frameworks (ISO 9001/45001) that drive Continuous Improvement and ensure high-quality asset delivery that satisfies both strategic requirements and end-user needs.
Overview
System Implementation and Continuous Improvement (FIC): As a Project Manager/Engineer at FIC, I engineered and implemented a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), utilizing a Process Approach to standardize all project and business as usual activities. This included developing a dashboard for tracking KPIs related to risk, document control, and customer feedback. My responsibility extended to training company directors and managers on ISO 9001:2015 implementation, which demonstrated Leadership commitment and established a framework for Continuous Improvement. I used Evidence-Based Decision-Making by generating regular reports on these compliance metrics, which guided management decisions on resource allocation and process refinement.
Verification and Customer Focus (Bristow): At Bristow, I ensured quality assurance for the X-Block refurbishment, prioritizing Customer Focus to satisfy the end-users (staff accommodation). I conducted rigorous quality and safety inspections for all refurbished units, ensuring adherence to project specifications before handover. I used formal compliance metrics (including ISO 45001) to ensure quality was a measurable component of project closure. I maintained a simple Quality Register to track defects and snagging items, ensuring timely resolution before final sign-off.
Tender Assessment and Project Support (FIG): In my current Project Support Officer role, quality management involves ensuring project inputs are compliant. This includes verifying that performance data and project documentation are up-to-date and properly maintained across all relevant platforms, which supports the PWD's commitment to Evidence-Based Decision-Making and is essential for future Internal Audits.
